As a technology in today’s day and age, Gaming has evolved tremendously (and grown exponentially). This article will look at What gaming was, what it is now, and what it will soon become.

What Gaming was

Gaming started out trying to be Social (e.g. Whole Family “playing” together). It was intended to be an electronic way people could play and interact with each other. However Gaming turned into a solo endeavor (Closet Gaming). Far from Social people would stay in their room or closet living in these virtual worlds. Atari was somewhat different with Games like Tetris and Pacman. But for the most part Gaming was not what it was originally intended to be.

In fact Nolan Bushnell the so called “Father of Gaming (Atari)” has called modern games “Unadulterated Trash”. And while I don’t think gaming is that bad I think it definitely can improve and reach it’s full potential. more…

Highways and smaller public roads are potentially hazardous for all motorists, with accidents causing tens of thousands of fatalities each year and a great many more injuries. But they pose an even greater threat to motorcyclists because they lack the benefit of an enclosed cabin and the majority of the safety features that have become common in their four-wheeled counterparts. This comparative defenselessness creates a situation in which even a seemingly minor motorcycle accident has the potential to result in a rider’s serious injury or death.

Surprisingly, despite the existing public perception that motorcycle riders are reckless and responsible for most of the crashes in which they are involved, it is the operators of cars and trucks whose failure to yield the proper right-of-way to bikers or outright failure to notice them that causes the majority. It is not altogether uncommon for some drivers with a harsh view of motorcyclists to intentionally press the boundaries of what could be considered safe or appropriate driving, and the riders are typically the ones who pay the price for those aggressive maneuvers. But this only constitutes a small portion of the danger that awaits a motorcyclist on any given day. more…

There are specific health insurance plans that will compensate the insured when he or she has a specific illness. In Spain, they are commonly used by self-employed people.

It is needless to say that the effects of economic loss or disease on self-employed people are high because they are more vulnerable than those who are employed with companies. Having a specific illness health insurance plan is not a bad idea. These plans have the advantage that the insured is covered for all related costs of the disease he or she specified in the policy. This would include hospital medicine and temporary disability.

If you have a specific illness for which you would like to be covered, this kind of health insurance plan would be perfect for you. Under this policy, you would be compensated for the time you were ill. This compensation would help you overcome the loss of income you had during that period. This is especially helpful when you are your source of income and not working for a period of time is costly. more…

In 1953 the Porsche 550 was born and this was their first competition car that Porsche had built. What made the 550 so special was that it weighed very little due to the aluminum body and a tubular frame but what’s more it was open top.

The only team that Porsche were racing against where the Volkswagen team and in their class at the Le Mans they finished first and second in the 1500cc class. Then Porsche had a other win in the famous Pan Americana Mexican road race!

The 550’s were on a winning streak and because of this Porsche began to dominate the motor racing scene worldwide. The 550 was such a good racing car because it was such a manoeuvrable car but not only that it was quick in fact it was extremely quick and because of that it wiped the floor with the competitors. In redecorating my home office, I began looking for images for the walls that would inspire and motivate me. This needed to be more than pretty pictures of flowers and landscapes. One day I was in a book store and started sifting through a bin of art prints. Voila! There it was: a series of images of the Eiffel Tower, spanning one year of construction from foundation to finished tower. I’d never had any real interest in the Eiffel Tower and didn’t know much beyond that it was built for the World’s Fair. Yet, the image spoke to me, and I couldn’t wait to get it home and hang it up.

It’s really an image to contemplate. For me, it symbolizes the journey and stages of becoming tall, strong and even iconic. I see powerful connections between the Eiffel Tower and process:

The Eiffel Tower didn’t spring fully formed out of the ground and instantly become a classic symbol of a city. Sometimes, when I’m feeling discouraged or overwhelmed, I forget that everyone started somewhere. It’s easy to think that certain people were just born with their PhD and expert status, in demand on several continents. In reality, they started from the ground and built up. There are no “overnight” successes. more…

For most online entrepreneurs, the first step in their online marketing strategy is to start writing a blog. Now, there is nothing wrong with that - we all have to start somewhere - but it is always wise to get as much information under your belt before you begin. And let’s face it, unless you have something VERY interesting to say, most people won’t search out your blog.

This is where a blog strategy is so important. Yes, you can start a blog as a sort of online diary and keep writing every day until you get a dedicated following, but that is not the kind of traffic you really want. What you need is the kind of traffic that searches you out, can’t wait to read what you have to say, and is willing to take the steps you want them to take. In other words, they buy what you tell them to buy. more…

If you want do a motorcycle trip lasting several days or weeks, some basic things will make it nicer and easier. Obviously, make sure your bike is in good condition, check yourself or pay someone who can do it. All the wearing parts must be checked etc. Consider using a GPS and  purchasing a canister for extra fuel, if you go somewhere that you don’t know beforehand. It may sometimes happen that even the main highways have really long distances between gas stations.

One important point is to make or have someone else to make a 12V output on your bike. Now you can charge everything from your bike while you ride, phone, GPS, flashlight, camera etc. And you can run a compressor through the 12V output to fill sleeping pads and tires.

If you have purchased a new tent, sleeping bag, food burner or some other gear, make sure you try it before you go. If your first time trying to figure out how to erect a tent is at nigh during rain, it may take a pretty long while. Take a full bottle of fuel on your burner, or several gas containers for a gas burner. Consider using a camera and a flashlight that you can charge on your bikes 12V outlet.

One obvious point is your budget, don’t go farther that what you really can pay your way back. In most cases, you will need more money than what you try and figure beforehand. There are also ways to keep your expenses at minimum like sleeping in a tent outside camping areas or riding shorter day distances. That way you also get to see more, meet people and so on.
